This Thursday, Open Tunings with Scott Regan, will preview the Naples Grape Festival happening September 26 & 27. He’ll be joined by festival music organizer Mike Joseph and one of the performers, Michael George Gonzalez.

Mike Joseph has curated two days of all original music acts to perform for the festival in downtown Naples,, NY this weekend.

The conversation will preview the festival’s live music lineup performing September 26–27 in Naples, NY. Music has been an important part of the Grape Festival for more than two decades, with a particular emphasis on original music from local and regional artists. This year’s schedule brings together an eclectic mix of independent musicians and bands, representing a wide range of styles and musical traditions.

Mike Joseph has been instrumental in shaping that program, assembling a full weekend of original acts that showcases the depth and diversity of the Finger Lakes music community. Gonzalez will also be part of the lineup, performing a solo set Sunday morning at 10:20 in the Live Music Tent.

Open Tunings airs on WRUR 88.5 FM and is hosted by Scott Regan. The interview will air Thursday, just ahead of the 2026 Naples Grape Festival, September 26–27. (naplesgrapefest.org)

The Open Tunings conversation offers a chance to look beyond the festival’s food, wine, crafts, and famous grape pie and explore the music that has become an important part of the weekend.
