Stargroove returns to Watkins Glen, NY for a last minute show. We just got the call to fill-in for a cancellation at Lucky Hare Brewing Bar & Grill on the Seneca Lake Harbor this Friday, September 4 from 5-8PM. The band will be in quintet formation led by Michael George Gonzalez (lead guitar + voice).Featuring Quinn Lawrence (saxophone) and Steve Imburgia (percussion). With special guests Joe Crum (bass) and Dave DeSiro (drums).

Lucky Hare Brewing Bar & Grill sits right on the waterfront at Seneca Harbor in Watkins Glen, with the marina and southern end of Seneca Lake just outside the door. The space has the easygoing character you’d hope for from a Finger Lakes brewery—good food, locally made beer, a full bar, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating—but the setting is what really makes it special. Large windows and outdoor seating open toward the harbor, making it an especially natural place for an afternoon or evening of live music. Lucky Hare has also made live music a regular part of its programming, bringing a steady stream of local and regional musicians to the waterfront.

Tucked into the southern end of Seneca Lake, the village sits at the intersection of some of the Finger Lakes’ defining features: the lake, wine country, spectacular natural scenery, and a remarkable history of music and motorsports. Watkins Glen State Park follows a dramatic gorge where a stream drops 400 feet through 19 waterfalls, while the village is internationally known as the birthplace of modern American road racing, dating back to the first Watkins Glen Grand Prix in 1948. There’s a particular energy to playing music here—the combination of visitors, locals, the lake, and the constant movement through town makes Watkins Glen feel like a place built around gathering, exploring, and enjoying the moment.
