The Gonztet will performing an evening of jazz standards and original compositions by leader Michael George Gonzalez (guitar + voice). Featuring Tom McClure (saxophone) and Doug Henrie (upright bass).

Brewery Ardennes is a particularly natural setting for a Gonztet performance. Located on Snell Road just outside Geneva, the brewery occupies a beautifully restored historic barn and combines Belgian-inspired brewing and cuisine with the relaxed atmosphere of a Finger Lakes farm. The property includes a spacious beer garden and covered outdoor pergola, making it an inviting setting for an evening of food, conversation, craft beer, and live music.

The Gonztet joined Brewery Ardennes’ Jazz Five Thirsty Thursday series on August 27, performing from 5:30–7:30 p.m. in the beer garden. The series brings jazz duos and trios to the brewery each Thursday during the summer, pairing live music with the brewery’s food and drink offerings. For this particular evening, the Gonztet brought its own take on the tradition, drawing from bebop, swing, blues, Brazilian music, the American songbook, and original compositions. Brewery Ardennes described the evening as an energetic return for the group, making it a fitting setting for a band that has been part of the Finger Lakes jazz community for more than two decades.
