As a composer and songwriter I usually take the time to layout the final versions of music I write. The first reason is for copyright protection filings in order to document my intellectual property rights. Secondly, it’s to be able to teach the music to my collaborators for upcoming performances and recording sessions.

But now I am creating new layouts geared to teaching other musicians and music students how to play these tunes. The lead sheets will contain melodies, harmonies, chords, and lyrics. Plus additional pages with performance tips, rhythmic analysis, and guitar techniques. These will be render to a high quality PDF file for printing hardcopies, or uploading digitally to a tablet or computer.
