Solo Acoustic
I have been a full-time musician for over 25 years. My career has taken me all over the North America performing, composing, teaching, and studying music. Of the more than 200 performances a year, solo engagements make up the majority of them.
WhorlWood
WhorlWood is a dynamic acoustic project founded by songwriter, guitarist Michael George Gonzalez. The core trio features SAMMY Award winning artist Perry Cleaveland (mandolin + fiddle) and Doug Henrie (upright bass). For some performances they are joined by percussionist Steve Imburgia.
The Noble Rebels
MG & The Noble Rebels brings a high-energy performance stacked with roots rock, country blues, rockabilly, western swing, and folk punk. Led by guitarist and composer Michael George Gonzalez.
Gonztet
The Gonztet is a jazz ensemble founded by guitarist and composer Michael George Gonzalez. They specialize in performing jazz standards, swing, sambas, bossa novas, blues, and the great American songbook.
Stargroove
Stargroove is a powerhouse dynamic band playing funk, fusion, reggae, and jam music. The rhythm section features drum kit, electric bass, and percussion for a high-energy danceable performance.
