Michael George Gonzalez is a musician, educator, and community organizer with 30 years experience. The artistic director and co-founder of the annual Geneva Jazz Festival and Scott Lafaro Celebration. And the founder of Finger Lakes Independent Music Alliance (FLIMA). A trained composer, Michael teaches and provides music enrichment programs to schools, organizations, and businesses of all kinds.

Michael’s diverse music delivers fresh sounds that pay homage to American music. His sultry voice and prolific guitar work engage the ear with creative phrasing and thoughtful dynamics.

As full-time musician Michael performs weekly gigs both as a solo artist, and as a bandleader for a various groups. Whether a performer, creative director, event planner, or promoter–Michael contributes to over 200 public and private events a year.
