/rowThanks to everyone that showed up last night to catch us in duo form at Geneva On The Lake. Playing with my brother Perry as a two-piece really opens the possibilities and avenues for experimentation.
Next week WhorlWood returns to Seneca Falls, NY on October 10, 2026. We’ll be playing at Fall Street Brewing downtown from 6:00-9:00PM. The group will be in our standard trio format featuring Perry Cleaveland (mandolin, fiddle, and vocals) and Doug Henrie (upright bass). It’s always a good time at Fall Street with an enthusiastic audience. Come for the music and stay for the tasty craft brews, wood-fired pizza, and more. We’re going to doing some experiments on our upcoming gigs. All in preparation for a recording session early next year.
Fall Street Brewing has become a familiar gathering place in downtown Seneca Falls, combining a craft brewery, café, and wood-fired pizzeria in the heart of the village. The brewery makes its own beer and cider, while the menu ranges from coffee and breakfast fare to wood-fired pizza, sandwiches, salads, and pub favorites. Live music and community events are part of the atmosphere, too, giving the place a little more energy than your typical brewery.
The response from visitors has been pretty enthusiastic. Tripadvisor currently gives Fall Street Brewing a 4.6 out of 5 rating, with reviewers frequently mentioning the friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, beer selection, and food. One recent visitor called it a “gem” on Fall Street, while another described the atmosphere as “cozy and inviting.” The wood-fired pizza gets plenty of attention as well, with several reviewers singling it out as a highlight.
On Saturday, October 10, WhorlWood will bring its blend of folk, jazzgrass, and world music to Fall Street Brewing from 6–9 p.m. The trio’s combination of mandolin, acoustic guitar, and upright bass gives the music plenty of room to move between styles, from roots-oriented material and traditional influences to jazz, Brazilian, and other global sounds.
Fall Street Brewing feels like a natural setting for that kind of musical mixture. It’s a place built around bringing people together over good food, good drinks, and conversation, and the live music becomes another part of that experience. An evening of WhorlWood, wood-fired pizza, and locally brewed beer makes for a pretty good way to spend a Saturday night in Seneca Falls.
