WhorlWood will perform in Lyons, NY on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. This is part of a celebration of the arrival of the Seneca Chief canalboat which is on a historic trip to commemorate the 200 year anniversary of the Erie Canal. The event is presented by the Museum of Wayne County History in conjunction with the Buffalo Maritime Center.

WhorlWood is a dynamic acoustic trio founded in 2016 by songwriter Michael George Gonzalez (guitar + voice). Their music is infused with flavors of Americana, roots, folk, and world music. The trio features SAMMY Award winner Perry Cleaveland (mandolin, fiddle, voice) and Doug Henrie (upright bass) of Henrie Brothers acclaim.
