We’re bringing back the Monthly Music Meetup as part of our #FlimaTuesdays program. For the first Tuesday of each month we invite musicians and music supporters of all stripes to join us for a networking and discussion event. Followed by some casual jamming or other music activity.
FLIMA Music Meetup is held once a month at a location in the Finger Lakes. The goal is to provide musicians with an opportunity to network, discuss music, and play. If you’re a musician living, performing, teaching, learning, or writing music in the Finger Lakes please join us. Music supporters are also welcome. And of course we will end the night by playing some music so bring an instrument, your voice, or some percussion goodies.

–Welcome
Introduction to the Finger Lakes Independent Music Association [FLIMA] its core mission and the people involved.
–Discussion
Open floor discussion for attendees to share experiences and speak about ideas, frustrations, professional development, needs, mentoring opportunities, and other music related business.
–Jam/Music Activity
Bring an acoustic instrument or percussion. Depending on the turnout will devote part of the night to making some music together. This may be an open jam session. Or if we have enough people, we may divide into teams for friendly music competition.
